Marg Says Goodbye to CSI

After being in the show for 11.5 years, Marg finished filming her last CSI scene on Wednesday, December 7th. After that, the cast and crew gathered together to say goodbye to their – and the fans’ – beloved Catherine. EW‘s Lynette Rice has a report that includes quotes from Marg’s speech with a nice photo of most of the cast and the producers. CBS TV Studios also posted a couple of photos, as staff member Robyn Stewart did:

Sadly, Billy Petersen wasn’t present. Marg’s last episode is scheduled to air on January 25th 2012.

Marg’s Tearful CSI Goodbye on ET

Tonight’s Entertainment Tonight is going to feature Marg’s CSI goodbye. You can already see a video on the show’s website where she becomes all teary and where her co-stars Jorja Fox, George Eads and Ted Danson talk about her departure.

Marg Helgenberger has clocked in an impressive 260 episodes as CSI‘s Night-Shift Assistant Supervisor Catherine Willows, but tonight Helgenberger will mark her departure from the hit CBS show, a decision the actress describes as a “very emotional” one.

However, tonight’s episode actually isn’t Marg’s last one. It’s just the beginning of her final storyline. The real goodbye episode is going to be aired in January.

Marg: I Would Love to Go to London
