Maureen “Kick” Kickasola is haunted by the abduction of her son, Travis. After he was taken, she gave up her job as a pathologist, and now flies helicopters around the Keys. When a new case involving a missing child begins, Kick is drawn into it by her former mentor and friend, Dr. CJ Halligan. With the help of her friend Loot and Police Chief Sam Wasser, she sets about solving the mystery and finding the little boy.
