Dr Laura Baker is, as Marg terms her, the “Heidi Fleiss of gene-splicing” is a scientist caught up to help save the world from a genetically mutated alien. In the second movie, Laura is monitoring “Eve” at her facility, when she escapes, leading Laura and the rest of the group back on the hunt.
