If you haven’t seen Marg play a crazy psycho chick, Desperate Motive (TV title: Distant Cousins, 1993) is the one movie you don’t want to miss. It wasn’t a great movie, but Marg’s character was quite impressive…a riot, in fact. She and David Keith played a couple paying a visit to his “distant cousin” and his family, but of course, things were just not as simple as they looked…

Marg Crooks Hearts

Thanks again to those who took parts in our 2009 Birthday Project. You rock! Four lovely fans uploaded their MargDay videos to MargTube. All of them are awesome. Please take a look. :)

Here’s another reminder to those who would like to participate: the project will be running until Friday, November 27th, so you’ve still got time. It’s Marg Day!

Happy Marg Day, dear Marg fans. And Happy 51st Birthday to the one, the only Ms Marg Helgenberger. No matter where you are, what you do, we here at Margamania wish everyone a great day. And have fun if you are going to have your own celebration for Marg Day. :)

We have received a few donations and many messages for the Birthday Project today. It seems many of you were holding out for this particular day. Well done! Thank you so very much to every Marg fan and every friend of MaMa’s for your participation. We really appreciate every message you have left and every dollar you have donated. If you haven’t joined the project and would like to be a part of it, please go here for details. Also, we noticed that a few of you had left your birthday messages on the wrong page. The correct one should be Dear Marg. Please make sure you’re on the right page when you post your message. If you’re one of those who posted on the wrong message, you’re welcome to post again. Birthday Project 2009 Update #2

Birthday Project Update

Our huge thanks to those who have shown their support to Margamania Birthday Project 2009 by either donating to our fundraiser for Susan G. Komen or leaving a message in the Dear Marg fan book. Your participation is very much appreciated. It’s been ten days since the project launched, and so far we have received almost $200 for the fundraiser. That’s not bad for a first-timer. In the fan book, some of you shared touching, inspiring stories we didn’t expect to see when we first started the project, which was a really nice surprise. Keep them coming!

Margamania Birthday Project 2009

It’s here, everyone. Our 2009 Birthday Project!

We are starting a little late this year, but we had a good reason. Marg is turning 51 on November 16, and Margamania is turning 5 on the same day. To celebrate Marg’s birthday and our 5th anniversary, we spent a lot of time preparing for this project. There are two parts in this project, both are open to every fan. The best part is that by participating in the project, you might be able to win really cool prizes we managed to get for you, and we mean very cool. The project will run until Friday, November 27th 2009. Every and each one of you Marg fans are welcome, and encouraged to join us. MaMa Goes Pink

TA-DA! It took a bit longer than I had expected, but I’m pleased with the way it turned out. As you can see, MaMa has gone pink for October. This is the second year we do this to honor Marg, her mother Kay —who is a breast cancer survivor for almost 30 years— and breast cancer awareness, a cause Marg has been involved in for a long time. For best viewing results, please use any web browser but IE. ;) If you encounter any problem while browsing the site, please feel free to leave a comment. I will do my best to have it fixed. Our Twitter has a matching new layout, too. Thanks to Ana for the inspiration. You know how. ;)

As you may have noticed, screen captures and video clips from CSI 10×02 Ghost Town have been available since Friday. If you haven’t seen them yet…

Today is also Alan’s 59th birthday. He and Marg aren’t a couple anymore, but still, Happy Birthday, Alan. :)

Will Catherine Be A Good Leader?

TV Guide posted an interesting interview with Marg. The interview is mainly about the premiere of CSI‘s new season premiere which will be aired tonight. Topics include Ray’s and Nick’s positions in the team, Sara’s return and of course, Catherine’s leadership and the pressure on her. She also talks about the possibility of Grissom’s return.
