Marg to be on “Late Show with David Letterman”

After Marg’s second last CSI episode, Ms Willows Regrets, airs on January 18th, she will make an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman the same night. Among other topics, she will most likely talk about leaving the show and filming her last episodes. North American fans, don’t miss it!

Marg to Visit “LIVE! with Kelly”

Marg is scheduled to be a guest on LIVE! with Kelly on Wednesday, January 18th. Her second last CSI episode Ms Willows Regrets airs that night. Mario Lopez from Extra will be Kelly’s co-host for the episode, and the other guest will be Royal Pains actor Mark Feuerstein. Hopefully there will be more information or a preview on the show’s official website soon.

Marg Gets Her Star on January 23rd 2012

According to Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Ana Martinez (@wofstargirl), Marg’s star ceremony is going to be held on January 23rd 2012. Her star will be two stars away from her “partner in crime”, William Petersen. Marg’s China Beach co-star Dana Delany also tweeted that she’ll be there. If you are planning to visit LA and watch Marg get her star, now you know the time!

Marg is scheduled to be on Steve Wright in the Afternoon of UK’s BBC Radio 2 on Thursday, November 3rd. The show airs weekdays from 2 to 5 pm UK time (10 am to 1 pm ET). Even if you don’t live in the UK, you should be able to listen to the interview online by clicking the “listen” button on the top-right corner of the page.

Meanwhile, Ted Danson will be a guest on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Wednesday, November 2nd.

CSI: The Truth Is Out There

Update: It turns out that Matt Lauria isn’t playing the FBI agent who’s going to have an affair with Catherine. The actor that’s going to play the role is actually Grant Show (Melrose Place, Big Love) who was on Ryan’s Hope from 1984 to 1987. Marg was on the show from 1982 to 1986, so this is going to be a reunion.

TV Line’s Michael Ausiello just reported that Annabeth Gish (The X Files) and Matt Lauria (Chicago Code) will guest-star on CSI for the upcoming Catherine storyline that was revealed last week. Now we know who will be playing Catherine’s old friend and the hot FBI agent!

…The actress (Gish) has landed a three-episode arc as Laura, an old friend of the soon-to-depart Catherine. When the two reconnect after 20 years apart, Cath discovers a surprising terror underneath her pal’s cheery exterior — a terror that she suspects is linked to her powerful bazillionaire hubby whose company may or may not have been involved in some very shady goings-on…

…The Friday Night Lights MVP (Lauria) will play Sac Pratt, an clean cut, all-business, no-nonsense boy man who knows he’s been promoted too soon and uses his arrogance to cover his insecurities. This veteran FBI agent is the Special Agent in Charge that barges in to help with a big case…

…Sources tell TVLine exclusively that Show has signed on for a multi-episode arc as Agent McQuaid, the “sexy and confident” partner of recently cast Matt Lauria (The Chicago Code), who “initially rattles Catherine when he and his colleagues swoop in to ‘help’ on the CSI team’s latest case.” Soon, though, McQuaid finds himself taken with Catherine’s amazing field work, Catherine finds herself taken with McQuaid’s intelligence and bravery, and the duo take their mutual appreciation directly to the bedroom…

Marg Is One of TV’s Highest-Paid Actresses

According to Forbes, 30 Rock‘s Tina Fey had the most income (gross earnings from shows, syndication deals, endorsements, etc.) among TV actresses in Hollywood during May 2010 to May 2011. Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) ranks second, and Marg, Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) and Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) tie for the third place with an estimated $10 million each. Here is what the article says about Marg:

Helgenberg has anchored the original CSI on CBS for 11 years now. In that time much of the rest of the cast has rotated. She’s now acting opposite her third male lead: Ted Danson. The former Cheers actor took over from Laurence Fishburne, who had starred in the show for two and a half seasons.
