This morning Marg was interviewed on CBS This Morning about leaving CSI and her experience on the show. Below is the full interview and our transcript.
Gayle: She’s been collecting fingerprints and other evidence on CSI since the hit CBS series began back in 2000.
Charlie: But next week crime scene investigator Catherine Willows is turning in her badge and Marg Helgenberger is here to tell us exactly why. [To Marg] Good morning.

UK’s CBS Drama channel posted four video clips from an interview with Marg in which she answers questions about TV and theatre. When asked about which theatrical role she would like to play, her answer is Blanche DuBois from A Streetcar Named Desire which she played when she was in Northwestern University. Q: Is it tough being famous?
A: You know, it’s not to the point where it’s out of control. I mean, I think that I’ve certainly never felt like a prisoner to my hotel room or anything like that, like some people I’m sure have to endure. It’s flattering, and I haven’t had any…bizarre incidences that made me want to become a recluse, so, I’m fortunate in that way. So, most part of it is really great. No complaints.
