Marg Back to Nebraska
As we reported a while back, Marg will be attending University Hospital Auxiliary’s Kaleidoscope Event in Omaha, NE this evening. Here’s another notice published just this morning.
Star of Hit Television Series Will Be a Guest at University Hospital Auxiliary’s Kaleidoscope Event

$150/person, tickets can be purchased by calling 559-5390Nebraska native and star of the hit television series “CSI,” Marg Helgenberger, returns to Omaha as a special guest the University Hospital Auxiliary’s Kaleidoscope 2010. Helgenberger’s mother received care for her breast cancer at The Nebraska Medical Center and since Helgenberger has become a national advocate for breast cancer research.
‘RE: MISSION POSSIBLE,’ the theme for this year’s Kaleidoscope will be held on Saturday, April 17 at the LaVista Conference Center. Dr. Kenneth Cowan, Director of the Eppley Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and his wife, Dr. Alison Freifeld, are pleased to be honorary chairs for the event.
Proceeds from the event will help to fund the new Life Renewal Center, which will be located at The Nebraska Medical Center’s Cancer Center at Village Pointe.
The Life Renewal Center will offer a variety of services – wigs, skin and nail care, massage therapy and educational classes – to help cancer patients renew themselves after treatment, improve their self confidence and manage their recovery.
The event co-chairs are Jill Folsom, Janette Garvin and Liz Otterberg. Tickets can be purchased by calling 559-5390.
