Rumor Rat: Two More Seasons For CSI
Thanks to Rumor Rat for the…rumor. ;) In an exclusive report published on March 29th, The Rat revealed that CBS has picked up CSI for another two seasons, which means there will not only be an 11th season, but a 12th as well. Before you read the following article, please keep in mind again that everything remains a rumor until it’s officially confirmed. Although a new season for CSI does seem like a sure thing.
EXCLUSIVE: CBS Picks up CSI for Two More Seasons – Laurence Fishburne Makes Attitude AdjustmentMarch 29, 2010 at 2:18 pm
A reliable source reveals to Rumor Rat that the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigators has been given a thumbs-up by CBS for two more seasons.
As an apparent result of the pick-up, gap-toothed star Laurence Fishburne has undergone a sort of attitude adjustment, according to our source on the set.
Crew members who’d been complaining before about Laurence Fishburne’s bitchy behavior on the set say he’s gone from Mr. Nasty, to Mr. Nice Guy.
Rat readers will recall that at the crew holiday party at the end of 2009, Fishburne was snarky to the show’s rank & file, even refusing to have his picture taken with them and their party guests.
Fish was also insisting on a closed set whenever he shot a scene to minimize the number of looky-loos he’d have to deal with while he was in character.
As for the future of Marg Helgenberger’s Catherine Willows character…
it’s still a big blood-covered question mark.
Since The Rat was first to report that a scene being shot for this season’s finale involved substantial blood loss by Catherine, the CSI blogs have been buzzing about her future with the show.
Helgenberger’s current contract is up at the end of the season.
