The Starlight Children’s Foundation is having an auction on a beautiful turquoise B. Makowsky bag on ebay right now. What makes this bag different is it’s signed by Marg on the inside. Here is an excerpt of the item description:

Marg Helgenberger took a moment from solving crimes on CSI to sign a beautiful B. Makowsky purse from the Lites Collection. Marg is best known for her roles as Catherine Willows in the CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and as K.C. Koloski in the ABC drama China Beach, which earned her the 1990 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Helgenberger is on many favorite lists including People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People.” Marg has even sported the famous milk mustache as an endorser of the “Got Milk?” Campaign. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation.

This keepsake was donated to Starlight New England’s event Purses & Pearls, an Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons on March 6, 2010. Purses & Pearls is a fundraising event for families to spend time quality together while making a difference for seriously ill children. At the event women are invited to mingle, shop from a selection of premier artisans, and participate in a silent auction featuring autographed celebrity purses. While children experience the meaning of philanthropy firsthand by creating crafts for hospitalized children. All proceeds will benefit Starlight and brighten the lives of children suffering from chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
