CSI: One of TV Guide’s Best TV Shows of the Decade
TV Guide has published the magazine’s Best/Worst lists of 2009 and the past decade. I don’t think any one of us is surprised that CSI is named one of this decade’s best TV shows since it started in 2000, created a new genre of crime drama, made science look sexy, and has been so successful that it developed two spin-offs almost as successful as itself. Here is what TV Guide says about the show:
CSI
Network procedurals are nothing new, but CSI‘s intense focus on science was. High-tech gadgets, lots of jargon, and the occasional maggot infestation helped the lab nerds look cooler than the beat cops. The original spawned two successful spin-offs to become the Law & Order of the 21st century.
