Of course, being one of the biggiest television stars, Marg got listed with a pretty photo of her as Siobhan from Ryan’s Hope (click thumbnail to enlarge). Some of Hollywood’s biggest names honed their skills on daytime dramas.

A scout from the show discovered Helgenberger acting in a Northwestern University production of Taming of the Shrew. Two years after leaving the soap, she won prime-time fame as prostitute K.C. Koloski on China Beach.
